Background & Experience

Bruce Hecht joined Swearingen Realty Group, L.L.C. in 1995 as an Executive Vice President, specializing in corporate services. During his tenure at SRG, Bruce has consistently been one of our top producers.  As Executive Vice President and one of three managing principals, he develops and directs the strategic activities of the company.  Prior to joining Swearingen, Bruce was a Senior Vice President and Director of Grubb & Ellis' Corporate Services Division and was a member of their National Office Council.  In 1991, he was elected to the Chairman's Council and earned their prestigious SMC designation.  He was recognized from 1989 through 1994 as a top producer nationally.

Bruce specializes in representing tenants on a local and national basis.

• He advises corporations on the acquisition and disposition of office and technical facilities for purchase and lease.
• He coordinates all aspects of the transaction and consults with real estate managers and upper management in evaluation and structure of their entire real estate portfolios.
• He is recognized for his negotiation strategies, overall market knowledge, and understanding of the financial, legal, accounting and construction aspects of real estate transactions.

• He represents his clients' interest diligently with the highest professional standards and conduct.

• Member of the Board of Directors for the CORE Network serving as V.P., S.W. Region.
• Member of the Board of Directors for the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR).
• Member of the NTCAR Executive Committee and Chair of New Initiatives.
• Member of the Board of Directors for the North Texas Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
• Twelfth year as a member on the Advisory Board of the Dallas Office Guide, a publication of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce.
• In 1998, Bruce earned the prestigious SIOR designation, held by less than one percent of all commercial real estate professionals nationally.

• Bruce has chaired Boards of several non-profit organizations.

Personal

Bruce earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin with majors in finance and real estate.  He is an avid sports enthusiast and is a certified Porsche race instructor.
