Background & Experience
Cameron Tapley joined Swearingen in 1995 and, in addition to being one of its top producers during his tenure, is involved in the training and development of brokerage personnel and the growth of the company's client base.
His commercial real estate career began in 1985 as a user/buyer representative and, in a span of over 24 years, has been involved in a wide range of transactions, which include: office; industrial; medical; retail and land requirements in almost every state in the U.S.
He has represented the interests of clients, such as: Computer Associates International, NDEx / Barrett Daffin Frappier Turner & Engel, Sun HealthCare, CareerStaff, Redi Carpet to mention a few, and has earned his clients' trust and respect as a strategic advisor by representing their interests as if they were his own.
Cameron has extensive experience in long-term strategic planning, transaction management, lease negotiations and acquisition/disposition consulting.
He has earned a reputation for being exceptionally tenacious, a creative thinker and able to bring transactions to a mutually beneficial close... an example of which was noted in the Dallas Morning News article profiling his involvement in the conversion of a vacant furniture store into a "state-of-the-art" two-story corporate office facility for a national law firm.
Additionally, Cameron's extensive knowledge of the contract documentation process enables him to help opposing attorneys overcome their differences when documenting complex transactions. With the unprecedented changes in our economy, his experience and creative approach to facility solutions and involvement in the strategic planning process give his clients great confidence in his counsel during the decision-making process.
In an effort to remain a pathfinder in the pursuit of real estate solutions, Cameron is actively pursing his CoreNet MCR designation.
Strategic Focus
Cameron embraces new technology and has a leadership role in the design and implementation of Swearingen's new business development efforts and the expansion of the portfolio optimization technology used to assess, process and implement client requirements. Cameron is personally involved in the training and development of each member of his team to ensure consistency in the delivery process of the highest level of service to his clients.

Personal History
Cameron lives in Southlake with his wife and has four children ranging from 10 to 25 years old. He has been involved with community associations as a volunteer in roles ranging from coach to committee member for groups such as the YMCA, youth sports organizations, local independent school districts and HOAs.
