Biography
Background & Experience
James E. Buddrus (Jim) joined Swearingen in 1981 as a specialist in tenant representation. He quickly became one of the most successful brokers in the company, earning recognition as a top producer 23 out of the last 25 years. As one of three managing principals of the firm, in addition to his client transactions, Jim is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the administrative operations of Swearingen and its staff.

Jim has specialized in representing major corporations in leasing, build-to-suits, building purchases, dispositions, strategic planning, development consultations and other facility-related transactions. He has:
- Negotiated transactions in just about every major market across North America.
- A strong user-oriented approach to providing client service and is committed to achieving each client's long- and short-term objectives by sound strategy development and maximizing current real estate market conditions in all transactions.
- Broad exposure to a variety of markets including healthcare, insurance, banking, finance, legal, call centers and non-profit.
