Biography

Background & Experience

Tom Brosseau has been in the commercial real estate business for 28 years.  He heads the Healthcare Services Division for Swearingen Realty Group, L.L.C., and is a Principal.  Having significant development experience, Tom has developed, as General Partner, over 20 commercial projects during his career.  Considered proficient in commercial lease negotiations and project feasibility, he has completed over 30 medically-related real estate assignments during the past two years.  Some of his notable successes include:

  • Baylor/All Saints Health System.  Sale of two (2) medical office buildings; solicitation of proposals to build new medical office building; $40 million total value; Ft. Worth, Texas.
  • Huntington Medical Office Building.  Huntington Medical Group Sale & Leaseback; 68,000 SF; $10 million sale; $25 million total lease consideration; Huntington Station, Long Island, New York.
  • Sadler Clinic Medical Office Building-Memorial Hermann Hospital Location.  Management of RFP for Build-to-Suit; 65,000 SF; $9 million total cost; $17 million total lease consideration; The Woodlands, Texas.
  • Sadler Clinic Medical Office Building-St. Luke's Hospital Location.  Build-to-Suit; 41,000 SF; $7 million total cost; $12 million total lease consideration; The Woodlands, Texas.
  • Gulf Coast Medical Group, P.A.  Sublease; 60,000 SF; Galveston, Texas.
  • Vancouver Medical Office Building.  Sale & Leaseback Feasibility Study; 70,000 SF; Vancouver, Washington.
  • Exclusive representation of Houston Allergy & Asthma (13 offices), the Sadler Clinic-Houston (100 physicians), Texas ENT (11 offices), and Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America (ASCOA) in Eureka, California; Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Professional Affiliations & Designations

  • Member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR).
  • Tom supports and serves various charitable organizations, most recently as a board member of the American Heart Association of Dallas and as a contributor to the Park Cities YMCA.

Personal

A graduate of the Business School at Texas Tech University, Tom was a varsity letterman with the Red Raiders football team and served in the Texas Tech Student Senate.  Tom resides in Dallas with his wife, Michelle, and four (4) children in University Park, Texas.
