Senior Vice President Construction
Becky is a senior vice president and Certified Property Manager at Swearingen, in charge of project construction administration services. She brings over 20 years of commercial real estate management and construction experience to the firm. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for overall facility operations of multiple high-rise office buildings in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, totaling over 2 million square feet of space. Her construction experience includes: ground up build-to-suit, re-stacking projects for large corporations, renovation projects, capital improvements, exterior facade repairs and other construction-related projects. She prepares all lease-related construction agreements, negotiates construction contracts, architectural/engineering contracts, construction inspections, approval/processing pay applications, developing working documents and coordinates furniture/cabling with dedicated, solution-oriented management experience.
Over the past 20 years, Becky has successfully managed extensive exterior granite and re-glazing projects for several high-rise office buildings. These projects included coordinating daily intensive schedules with contractors, tenants and litigation specialists involved. Projects were completed under budget and ahead of schedule, resulting in significant dollar savings to the owners of the properties.
Becky’s clients have included top real estate companies and corporations such as: Fannie Mae, Hudson Advisors, Celanese, BCBSSC, Linebarger Blair Googans, Baker-McKenzie, Kimberly Clark, CIGNA Insurance, Metropolitan Life Insurance, J.C. Penney, IBM, Microsoft, Dean Witter, HEC/EQUIFAX, Frito Lay, Southwestern Bell Telephone, Ford Motor Company, Phillip Morris and many other national firms.
Becky and her husband, Richard, operate a working ranch near Waco, Texas.
